The Missouri Park and Recreation Association and its members recognized the need to create a space to assist departments across the state with these four practices.
An Ad Hoc committee was formed in 2022 to start the process, which later evolved into an official Section. This is an ongoing process, and it takes professionals across the state to make a difference.
