STEP ONE: REGISTRATION

  • Upon arrival to conference you will need to visit the registration desk to get your name badge, meal tickets, and other conference materials you will need to navigate through the week. You are welcome to visit the registration desk to ask questions during the week as well. Registration desk hours are limited so refer to the MPRA Conference App to check times.

  • Keep your name badge on you at all times for conference activities. It is helpful to insert your meal tickets into your name badge holder so you have them with you when needed. You will not be allowed entry into socials, the banquet, exhibit hall, etc. without your name badge and/or tickets

ATTEND CONFERENCE 101

  • On Tuesday, March 1, the MPRA Young Professionals are hosting a Conference 101 session at 1:00 pm that you won't want to miss. This session will better prepare you for what to expect during the week of conference and how to get the most out of your conference time. We highly recommend attending this session!

DOWNLOAD THE CONFERENCE APP

  • Be sure to download the conference app prior to conference. You will receive an invite to the app at the email address you used to sign up for the conference. If you have not received that email invite one week before conference, please contact the MPRA office. You can use the conference app to create your schedule for the week, connect with others, post photos, receive important alerts throughout the week, access session handouts, give feedback, and much more!

NEEDING CEUS?

  • If you are seeking CEUs (Continuing Education Units) be sure to collect your CEU card from the registration desk and keep it in your possession while you attend conference. For each session you attend you will mark a check in and a check out code on your CEU card to verify your attendance. Before you leave conference be sure to drop off your completed card at the registration desk. You are also welcome to scan and email your completed card to info@mopark.org.

EDUCATION SESSIONS ARE A MUST!

  • Take notes! You are going to be given so much information throughout the week so you will want to take notes so that you remember what all you learned.

ATTEND SOCIALS

  • Socials are a great way to have fun and spend time with your parks and recreation peers. Bring plenty of business cards and be ready to talk about your unique job.

VISIT THE EXHIBIT HALL

  • When visiting the Exhibit Hall, have your business cards available as well. Visiting the exhibit hall is a valuable activity that will connect you with over one hundred potential vendors. There are also a lot of free items and samples to take home as well.

WANT TO BRING A FAMILY MEMBER OR FRIEND WITH YOU?

  • We have extra meal and social tickets available for purchase if they would like to join us. Please order all tickets in advance through the MPRA Office, though. Tickets are often not available on-site.

QUESTIONS?

  • If you have any questions or need some guidance, please reach out to the MPRA staff at 573-636-3828 or email us at info@mopark.org.

NEED HELP GETTING TO CONFERENCE?
